Job Summary
The Servicing Quality Control Auditor willperform audits review audit results on loans being currently serviced/sold by UWM. This includes an analysis of loan boarding payments performing and non-performing loan requirements. These requirements include but are not limited to servicing investor guidelines ( FHA etc.) Federal and State regulations. The auditor will review and validate defect notifications received from internal and external auditor will also perform root-cause analysis and QC action-planning with servicing stakeholders to reduce risk.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Reviewing and validating identified errors and conditions following an internal or external audit on all Servicing related issues: including but not limited to all Servicing Mortgage Investor Guidelines (Ginnie Mae Fannie Mae Freddie Mac etc.) and Federal or State Applicable related Servicing Guidelines
- Assessing defects for validity against Agency Federal guidelines and UWM internal policies
- Holding monthly and quarterly Department meetings to discuss trends as necessary
- Helping stakeholders with identifying root causes of errors
- Effectively communicating with wide variety of internal parties to resolve defects
- Reviewing external vendors audits to mitigate risk and assess the vendors performance
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Must Have Qualifications:
- 5 plus years Servicing experience or Service/mortgage auditing experience
- Strong knowledge of Federal and Agency (FNMA /FHLMC) Servicing guidelines and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High School Diploma
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- College Degree
- FHA and/or VA knowledge
- Servicing and/or Loss Mitigation experience
