Are you ready to shape the communities of tomorrow Were seeking a driven and experienced Intermediate Civil/Municipal Engineer to join our growing team in Burnaby BC. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled professional in municipal or development engineering who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to take the next step in their career.
Youll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative infrastructure solutions that make a lasting impact working alongside a dynamic team of industry experts who value creativity precision and teamwork.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Lead and support the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects including roads water wastewater and stormwater systems.
- Design servicing solutions for new developments including lot grading utility layout and integration with existing infrastructure.
- Prepare engineering designs drawings specifications and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams clients developers contractors and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct site inspections and provide construction support services.
- Assist in proposal development and contribute to business development efforts.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive team culture.
What your experience looks like
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 58 years of relevant experience in municipal and/or development engineering with a focus on new development servicing.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (.) with EGBC.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of municipal standards development processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing small to mid-sized projects is an asset.

The salary range for this role is between$115K - $140K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location.
