Auto Body Painter

As an Auto Body Painter at McCluskey Chevrolet you will be responsible for applying paint to automotive bodies and parts ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards.

JOB TITLE: Auto Body Painter

REPORTS TO:Body Shop Manager

LOCATION: Cincinnati OH

A SHORT LIST OF YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding masking and priming surfaces.
• Mix and match paint colors to ensure accurate color application.
• Apply paint using spray guns and other equipment in a controlled environment.
• Inspect finished work for quality and consistency making touch-ups as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area including proper disposal of hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with body technicians and estimators to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Keep up-to-date with new painting techniques and materials.
  
  

WERE LOOKING FOR A SELF-STARTER WHO MEETS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in auto body painting preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive painting or collision repair.
• Proficiency with spray guns sanding tools and paint mixing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
