Job Summary

Job Title: Travel X-Ray Technologist

Location: Maryville TN

Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)

Shift: Mid Shift 5x8 Hours (3:00 PM 11:00 PM)

Pay Rate: $2218 weekly gross

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist for a travel contract in Tennessee. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety comfort and accurate image capture in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians and healthcare providers.
Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
Ensure proper patient positioning shielding and radiation safety standards at all times.
Review and evaluate images for technical quality before submission for interpretation.
Document patient information and procedure details accurately within the EMR system.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other technologists to provide optimal patient care.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging equipment and work area.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of recent X-Ray Technologist experience required.
Must have at least 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR.
Strong knowledge of radiologic positioning anatomy and safety procedures.
Excellent communication organizational and time management skills.

Certifications & Licensure:

ARRT (R) Required
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
