Job Summary and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Volunteer Coordinator in our Volunteer Services Department. Are you a highly organized individual with a true passion for people and a commitment to serving your community Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy connecting volunteers with meaningful opportunities As our Volunteer Coordinator you will be the heart of this essential program ensuring our volunteers feel valued supported and empowered to make a difference.
- Collaborate effectively with department managers and staff to identify needs for volunteer support.
- Communicate hospital news updates and events to the volunteer corps.
- Prepare regular reports on volunteer program metrics including recruitment retention hours and impact.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Job Requirements
- High School Graduate General Studies Required
- Minimum (1) year of general office secretarial/clerical experience required
- Fire Safety (FIRESAFETY) within 90 Days of hire required
