An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Science Teacher to join our College community on a full time ongoing basis.
Reporting to the Head of Learning Science this role will be responsible for teaching Science subjects across Years 5 to 12 in a collaborative and progressive environment.
To be successful in this opportunity you will require:
- Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Demonstrated outstanding classroom teaching skills across years 5 - 12
- Experience in teaching VCE and/or International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) would be an advantage
- An interest or background in Outdoor Education and/or Sustainability will be viewed favourably
- Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning
- Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes
- An active contributor to a collegial work environment
- Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College
