HMR is a leading national contractor providing underground and surface drilling mining and raiseboring services across Australia.
Role Summary
We are seeking Surface and Underground Diamond Drill Assistants to join our team in Western Australia.

Key Details
- Rosters: 14/7
- Residential in Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth
- Underground and surface work
- Accommodation and meals provided
- Full-time permanent positions
- No experience required full on-the-job training provided
- Competitive pay rates
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Driller in producing high-quality diamond core samples
- Perform manual handling and operational support tasks
- Conduct pre-start inspections and safety checks
- Contribute to a safe productive and positive work environment
Requirements / Qualifications
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Ability to meet pre-employment medical drug & alcohol screening
- Police clearance (within 6 months)
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in manual handling or physical work
- Manual Drivers Licence (required for underground roles)
- HR Licence (required for surface roles)
