Position Summary:
This role provides direct clinical patient care on a per-shift basis. Responsibilities include assessing planning and implementing care for assigned patients and supervising staff as needed. The RN will support hospital leadership to ensure high-quality safe and appropriate nursing care staff competency and effective resource management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and implement individualized care plans.
- Supervise staff and ensure delegated tasks are completed safely and effectively.
- Maintain effective interpersonal and communication skills serving as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Required: Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited nursing program.
- Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (BSN or MSN).
Certifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts required.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
Other Requirements:
- Successful completion of background check and pre-employment health screening including drug testing.
- Must comply with applicable vaccination or exemption requirements as required by law.
