Job Summary

N-iX Games is looking for a Narrative Designer/Game Writer for a PC premium game co-developed with a renowned strategy / RPG game publisher. Youll create the narrative of a new IP and define and build a players emotional journey by creating all narrative aspects of a captivating hard SCI-FI world. Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sci-Fi writer with work examples
Design story and narrative-driven content in a productive and resultative fashion
Creating and maintaining design documentation to communicate changes to the team
Forward-thinking and anticipating the games needs with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative
Desire and ability to support Game Design team and Game Director in defining systems and structures to improve the game experience throughout the entire game not just in the story/narrative area

As a plus:

At least one shipped commercial game title is a huge plus
Experience with Unreal Engine
Great communication skills and a positive can-do attitude
Written English (at least C1).
Familiarity with the hard sci-fi genre and narrative strategy games.
A portfolio containing examples of narrative work and examples of style variety is a plus.
