Do you have a passion for teaching preschoolers Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is now accepting applications for a part-time (.50) early childhood special education preschool teaching position that isavailable within our division for theschool year.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student with disabilities within the preschool setting.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teachers License with the appropriate endorsement to teach ECSE PreK or PreK-6
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans and curriculum materials
• Possess ability to effectively assess student learning and use results to plan and implement appropriate instruction
• Integrate technology into classroom instruction to enhance learning
• Utilize Google Drive for instructional purposes collaboration and managing coursework
• Create and maintain an inclusive supportive learning environment that respects the diverse backgrounds and needs of all students
• Communicate effectively with strong written verbal presentation and interpersonal skills
• Engage and collaborate effectively with parents and families
• Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to a positive team environment

FLSA: Exempt

SALARY:$26416.18 - $42806.82 annually; commensurate with experiences and pro-rated to start day
