As a Software Engineer youll help us push the boundaries of what legal tech can do. Youll build web applications and core backend services that connect with AI models like GPT Claude and Gemini.
Working at Filevine is a mix of solving real-world customer problems owning features end to end and shaping how we build software at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of features from idea release maintenance
- Partner with Product to shape solutions before theyre built
- Contribute to a codebase that stays stable readable and fun to work in
- Build across the stack - UI APIs backend services (no thats not my part energy)
- Collaborate across teams to deliver on time without unnecessary drama
- Review code thoughtfully and give feedback that helps the whole team level up
Requirements
- 1 years building and shipping software products from start to release to maintenance
- Experience contributing to projects and designing solutions that can scale with use
- Comfortable working across the stack - more focused on solving problems than guarding territory
- Thrives in a remote collaborative environment: async communication clear thinking no ego
- Able to work with operations and customer-facing teams to turn messy realities into clean solutions
- Familiar with or open to using: Python Typescript React Svelte Kubernetes AWS (we care more about engineering skill than specific tools)
