Are you a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of tools and ground support equipment management in a dynamic aviation environment We are seeking a Manager Tools & GSE to join a leading airlines operations team ensuring world-class support for line maintenance and A-checks.
This is a critical leadership role overseeing all aspects of tools and GSE operations from inventory and logistics to calibration inspection and regulatory compliance. Youll play a key part in ensuring the serviceability availability and operational excellence of essential equipment in a fast-paced safety-first setting.
Lead all tools and GSE store functions including inventory issuance storage and data integrity.
Drive 24/7 logistics operations to meet demanding aircraft maintenance schedules.
Manage proactive servicing calibration and repair programs for all tools GSE and vehicles.
Collaborate across departments (Line Maintenance Planning MCC etc.) to align on priorities and performance.
Develop and implement robust processes for safety asset control and audit compliance.
Maintain facility standards in tooling areas and staging zones to meet top-tier operational expectations.
Champion a culture of safety human factors awareness and continuous improvement.
Mentor coach and develop your team to foster engagement and high performance.
Extensive experience in a similar tools/GSE leadership role within aviation or heavy engineering.
Strong knowledge of OEM standards calibration requirements and airport regulatory compliance.
Exceptional people leadership skills with a passion for team development.
Strategic mindset with hands-on ability to improve logistics cost control and system processes.
Strong communicator adept at working across cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments.
