Job Summary

Position: Golang Developer

Length: 3-6 month contract

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Hybrid- New York NY (3 days a week onsite- starting Jan 2026 4 days a week onsite)

Must Haves:

4-7 years of software engineering/development experience (Specifically within GO)
Prior experience architecting micro service based applications
software system as a collection of small independent services that work together to form a larger application
Background within AWS for cloud technologies
Database Systems Experience: PostgresSQL MongoDB Elasticsearch
Coding: Python or Golang (GO is preferred)
Automation Tools: Kubernetes and/or Docker
Prior experience with mentoring junior level developers
Empathy & interpersonal skills for mentorship and collaboration
Degree within Computer Science or a related field

Plusses:

Background within front-end development (using JavaScript)
Experience with media workflows or encoding platforms
Designing data lakes or large-scale data systems
