Pay Rate: $40 - $45/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)
Shift: 06:45 PM 07:15 AM
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry Unit on a PRN basis. The RN will provide high-quality patient care monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions. This position requires strong clinical judgment communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the telemetry unit in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.
- Monitor interpret and document cardiac rhythms and patient vital signs accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about health management and post-discharge care.
- Respond rapidly and appropriately to emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Adhere to infection control safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
- Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
