Job Description:
Responsibilities

Design and development: Architect design and implement graph-based data models and solutions.

Query optimization: Develop and optimize efficient graph queries using languages like Cypher Gremlin or SPARQL.

Data integration: Build and maintain data pipelines to load transform and integrate data from various sources into the graph database.

Performance and scalability: Ensure the graph database and related applications are scalable performant and secure.

Collaboration: Work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams (like data scientists analysts and other engineers) to define use cases and translate requirements into technical solutions.

Application development: Build applications or APIs that leverage the graph database for relationship analysis recommendation engines fraud detection or other use cases.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentor junior developers on graph best practices.

Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for graph schemas queries and architectures.

Required skills and experience

Hands-on experience with graph databases (e.g. Neo4j Amazon Neptune).
Proficiency in graph query languages (e.g. Cypher Gremlin SPARQL).

Strong programming skills in languages in Java and Python

Heavy financial experience

Familiarity with data modeling principles for connected data.
Experience with ETL processes and data ingestion.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS is often a plus.
Understanding of data structures and algorithms particularly related to graph theory.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
