Job Summary

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts.
Interpret and read blueprints technical drawings and CAD models to determine machining specifications.
Utilize CNC programming skills to create and modify programs for optimal performance.
Conduct inspections using calipers micrometers bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines to ensure adherence to tolerances.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes through lean manufacturing principles.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a plus.
Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing processes.
Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tasks.
Ability to operate precision measuring instruments effectively.
Knowledge of tooling assembly processes and welding techniques is beneficial.
