Job Summary

Summary

Gain practical work experience through providing customer service to all Office of Health and Wellness patrons and guests and have knowledge of Office of Health and Wellness and Student Recreation Center rules regulations and policies.

Essential Functions

  • Provide excellent customer service maintain a positive rapport with patrons and coworkers and resolve conflict
  • Operate various computer applications
  • Enforce rules and regulations
  • Assist with the Office of Health and Wellness events and programming
  • Assist with administrative BGSU PAWS TEAM tasks
  • Perform general office duties: photocopying answering telephone etc.
  • Run errands
  • Schedule HIV testing appointments
  • Maintain confidentiality of Office of Health and Wellness patrons
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the Offices of Recreation and Health and Wellness Student Employee Manual
  • Promote and support the mission of the Office of Health and Wellness
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings
  • Make phone calls to patrons
  • Participate in Student Development and Leadership Program
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possess and maintain current CPR First Aid and AED certifications
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication professional mannerisms and a friendly demeanor
  • Work independently and in a team
