• Base salary $107k- $117k per annum

The Role

Opportunities like this are about as rare as they come within the sports media industry.

We are searching for a media Swiss army knife. Someone with the technical skills to record and edit a podcast/vodcast with the editorial capability to guide on-airtalent and the strategic nous to drive the success of a slate of podcasts.

Working with the Executive Producer for podcasts at ABC Sport the successful candidate has experience in sports storytellingand an innate understanding of what resonates with audiences.

The successful candidate should understand cricket NRL and AFL with a broad appreciation for all sport. More important than that understanding what makes great content.

The Job

• Editing Podcasts and VOD bringing outstanding editorial judgment.
• Engaging talent for interviews and comment.
• Building a content calendar looking forward 12 months.
• Building a strong audience following over time.

Position Description: SUPERVISING PRODUCER SPORT

About You

You have extensive experience in the media landscape with a significant understanding of audio content production.

This is a senior role that requires a high level of independence and problem-solving capability.

Youll also have:

• A strong demonstrated love and understanding of sport and media.
• A consistent and creative risk-taking approach to program making.
• Experience and creativity in all aspects of audio content making including highly advanced writing and editing skills along with audio editing and intricate production.
• Highly advanced understanding of online audiences international podcast distribution trends and social media strategies.
