Job Summary

**Opportunity Overview:**

This position offers a rewarding chance to provide care in a community-driven environment with a manageable patient workload complemented by robust subspecialty support.

**Position Details:**

As a Hospitalist you will:

- Deliver inpatient care following a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM 7 PM).- Conduct daily rounds on a caseload of approximately 1215 patients per physician.

- Manage patient admissions and respond to rapid response situations/codes.

- Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU framework with 24/7 consult availability.

- Perform comprehensive patient assessments including history-taking and physical examinations while documenting findings in Paragon EMR.

- Coordinate care with attending physicians specialists and hospital personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Engage in a collaborative Hospitalist team managing a collective patient census of 4050 daily.

- Note: No on-call responsibilities required.- Practice in a non-trauma facility with a solid healthcare infrastructure.

**Qualifications:**- Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; new graduates are encouraged to apply but must complete residency beforehand.

- Must achieve Board Certification within a two-year timeframe from the contract start date.

- A valid New York medical license is required or a commitment to obtaining one.- Candidates must possess a clean malpractice and licensure history.

- Certifications in DEA BLS ACLS and PALS are mandatory.

- Visa support is required for the provider.

- Willingness to work full-time with a 7 on / 7 off schedule is essential.- Comfort in an open ICU environment with intensivist collaboration is required.

**Certification Requirements:**- ACLS- BLS

- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine- DEA- PALS

**State License Requirements:**

- New York medical license required.
