The Role:
This role will be responsible for overseeing the development preparation and maintenance of high-quality program documentation including briefings decision papers presentations plans and reporting artefacts. This will include analysis and evaluation of progress identifying risks and developing intervention procedures or mitigation measures where required.
The role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills including with senior and executive stakeholders forming and maintaining positive and supportive working relationships across the agency.
You will lead a small team responsible for a range of quality and support activities associated with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology including Agile Delivery Team Boards while managing Program Strategic Risks in the Departments Risk Management System. Support program planning and reporting in an agile program delivery environment including regularly reviewing Program performance and acting on emerging risks and issues.
In this role you will provide analysis on complex issues and contribute to the planning reporting and co-ordination of Program of high-quality information analysis and advice in a timely manner to a range of audiences and contribute to continuous improvement activities and champion opportunities to mature program planning and reporting practices for the Program.
You will build strong and effective relationships with a range of key internal stakeholders including collaborating with key stakeholders to identify opportunities achieve outcomes and facilitate will prepare and present a range of high quality and precise communication material including Executive briefings Committee papers presentations and reporting to team planning prioritisation and workflow management and shaping the teams work program in alignment with the Program objectives.

Location and Contract Term: This role is based in Canberra. Contract till September 2026.
