Job Highlights: Job Title: Youth Programs Coordinator Location: Denver CO Report To: Youth Programs Manager Hours Required: Part-Time 2040 hours per week. Candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age due to licensing requirements.
Position Overview: Be the energy that brings our youth programs to life! The Youth Programs Assistant supports the Youth Programs Manager by leading day-to-day coaching operations ensuring safe and fun experiences across camps birthday parties after-school clubs and field trips and helping build a thriving community for players and families.
Your Game Plan:
Coaching & Program Delivery (50%)
- Lead engaging high-energy sessions for youth participants coaching a minimum of 2025 hours per week and ensuring every child learns and has fun.
- Maintain supervision and safety during camps birthday parties after-school clubs field trips and regular classes.
- Serve as the on-field contact for parents players and staff when the Youth Programs Manager is not present.
Operations & Equipment Management (30%)
- Prepare organize and maintain equipment materials and supplies for upcoming programs and events (minimum 35 hours of equipment prep per week including offsite pickups as needed).
- Assist with cleaning and storage of all equipment and ensure facilities are organized and safe.
- Support logistics for scheduled programs and be onsite for field trips and special events.
Program Support & Community Engagement (20%)
- Help recruit schedule and organize camps birthday parties after-school clubs and field trip bookings in coordination with the Youth Programs Manager.
- Participate in facility events (Kids Fest Member Appreciation etc.) and support community outreach and program improvements.
- Meet regularly with the Youth Programs Manager to review schedules update programs and suggest enhancements.
What You Bring to the Pitch:
- Outgoing and passionate about working with children and families.
- Customer-oriented dependable with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in youth sports recreation or education preferred.
- Effective discipline skills and the ability to manage groups of children safely.
- Willingness to learn be coached and grow within a team environment.
- CPR/AED certification preferred but not required.
- Availability for afternoons evenings weekends and occasional holidays.
