What is broking in insurance
The risks our clients insure could range from a satellite launch Ronaldos right foot a McLaren racing car Tailor Swifts global tour or a block of student flats in New York City. As a Commercial Insurance Associate you will play a vital role in protecting businesses and global power houses against unforeseen risks. This is done through building strong client relationships understanding their needs creating a link between clients and insurers and supporting them through claims and negotiations.

Candidate Profile
The focus of our Graduate Programme is to give you excellent breadth of exposure to corporate risks working in all our major divisions and gaining invaluable experience in the early stages of your your final months your experience becomes more specialised as you explore where your talents add the most value and you begin to refine your strengths.
Your development:
You will become a Chartered Insurance professional within the first two years via completion of the Advanced Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) qualification.
You are supported and mentored by industry experts from across the business by working alongside them in the dynamic world of insurance.
You acquire hands-on technical knowledge and professional skills and have fast-tracked access to build relationships with Lockton experts clients and markets.
You have opportunity to work with a diverse range of global clients to collaborate with colleagues around the world and contribute to strategic and innovative projects.
Who we are looking for:
Our Graduate Programme is open to all graduates who are curious and eager to learn regardless of your degree subject. This role is perfect for a strong communicator with excellent numerical and analytical skills who enjoys building relationships and collaborating with others.
Other attributes and skills we are looking for include:
- A passion for delivering high-quality projects.
- A positive proactive can-do attitude - even when under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise your own workload.
- Quality-driven with great attention to detail.
- Adaptability as the insurance landscape is ever-evolving and fast-paced.
Minimum requirements: - You will have or be on track to achieve a 2:2 degree (or equivalent) in any subject.
- A minimum of grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics and 3 A-levels / 5 Highers (or equivalent).
