Overview
Element is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Test Engineer to join the Dynamics department which focuses on fatigue and fracture mechanics. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about engineering and problem-solving while ensuring the highest quality standards in products and systems. Comprehensive test plans will be developed and implemented culminating in full reporting with interpretation of results. This also includes collaboration with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.

Salary: $75000- $85000 DOE (Depending on Experience)
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Lead the design development and execution of test plans for new and existing products
Document test results identify defects and track them through resolution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage
Maintain test equipment and ensure the test environment is operational and safe
Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes
Provide timely feedback and documentation on issues risks and improvements
Participate in design reviews as required
Working Conditions:
Lab environment may have limited exposure to heat dust and machinery
Use of company provided PPE required (safety glasses)
Standing lifting and handling materials for extended periods
Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds with more frequent lifting of 10 to 15 pounds
Skills / Qualifications
- Associates degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field
- Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in an testing quality assurance or engineering support role
- Basic knowledge of testing principles QA methodologies and engineering processes
- Familiarity with testing tools and scripting languages is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented fast-paced environment
