Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg - Full Time
Schedule: 36 hours/week 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks
Shift: Rotating Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays
We are seeking a dedicated Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality compassionate care to adult adolescent and geriatric patients. The RN assesses plans implements and evaluates patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team while promoting a healing environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver skilled evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced Med/Surg setting.
Assess patient needs develop individualized care plans and evaluate outcomes.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
Maintain compliance with infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
Requirements
Active New York State RN License (required)
Certifications: BLS ACLS (AHA or RQI only) NIHSS (required)
Experience: Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience
Key Skills
Patient assessment care planning teamwork communication medication administration critical thinking and patient/family education.
