Position: Test Engineer (Cedar Rapids IA)

Job Overview: We areseeking a Test Engineer to support ongoing engineering this role you will collaborate closely with team members to test and maintain a variety of engineering devices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in executing test procedures ensuring device stability and contributing to successful software releases.

This is a contract role.

• Execute both automated and manual test suites on GNSS-based receivers

• Test GNSS CP and various device OS functionalities

• Drive innovation in testing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

• Monitor baseline health through integration testing

• Troubleshoot and root-cause engineering issues through analytical testing

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience

• Proficiency in Python C and C

• Experience with testing methodologies and debugging engineering systems

• Self-motivated with strong task execution and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a globally distributed team

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

• Desired (but not required): Knowledge of GNSS principles including signal generation transmission reception measurement construction and position calculation
  

• Passion for engineering quality and continuous improvement

• Curiosity and initiative to explore new tools and processes

• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
