Manville provides services for up to 115 students from over 50 school districts in the greater Boston area and has approximately 100 educational clinical and behavioral staff members. Manville integrates comprehensive evidence-based clinical services innovative educational programming and tiered behavioral supports to ensure that students with unique needs experience social-emotional development and academic success. The Nurse Manager provides direct services to students and staff develops individual nursing care plans for students and monitors health policies and emergency procedures. The Nurse Manager supervisor the School Nurse provides trainings to staff for medication administration and works closely with Manvilles Clinical Director and Psychiatric Prescriber. Key ResponsibilitiesAssesses student health status and identifies health problems on a routine daily basis creates individual nursing care plans as student health records and administers medications with documentation and accurate record health counseling to students and with the Psychiatric Prescriber to provide psychopharmacological services to daily first aid treatment to students and staff as with outside clinical and budgets for health office maintains and continuously monitors health policies and emergency participates in the development implementation and monitoring of the health and submits results of yearly immunization survey for the Department of Public medication administration trainings to staffProvides annual training for staff regarding medical related School QualificationsEducation:Bachelors degree in Nurse (RN) License in Massachusetts in good standing is :5 years of Nursing experience is and/or psychiatric care experience is :First Aid/CPR and Physical Restraint trainings is required or ability to participate in annual training at beginning of employment and annually or as needed throughout & BenefitsWe value our team members and invest in their success and well-being.
