The Position

Assist and oversee food production and menu-based cateringfor 102 residents in this modern aged care facility.
Ensuring all OH&S compliance is achieved adhere to safe work practices and safe food handling procedures
Ensure all catering controls are in place and wastage is kept to the minimum
Lead mentor and create a positive work culture
Assist with rostering ordering stock control and other administrative duties related to a senior chef posit

The Person

Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery
Experience with cooking healthy and nutritious food in bulk quantities
Experience in HACCP food safety and infection control
Aged care experience preferred /good understanding of IDDSI and the preparation of texture modified meals
Must be be able to work autonomously across a7 day rotating roster
Able to provide or obtain current National Police Check influenza vaccinations and NDIS card
