Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Syracuse NY 13210
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 3x12 hours (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Pay Rate: $50$55/hr (Stipends available for eligible travelers)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Respiratory Therapistfor an exciting job in Syracuse NY.
Responsibilities
Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapy.
Initiate monitor and manage oxygen therapy.
Assist physicians in ventilation management and adjustments.
Perform pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas sampling.
Provide emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when needed.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Ensure patient safety and adherence to all clinical protocols and standards.
Qualifications
Associates Degree (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy.
Active New York State Respiratory Therapist License/Registration required.
Minimum 2 years of post-degree acute care clinical experience.
Excellent interpersonal organizational and communication skills.
Must successfully complete pre-employment health clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Pediatric experience preferred.
Flexibility required no block scheduling or dual assignments permitted.
