Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PRN Occupational Therapist to join our this flexible role you will provide therapy services on an as-needed basis helping patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and enhance their quality of life. This position is perfect for professionals looking for flexibility while making a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations to assess functional needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility coordination strength and daily function.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises adaptive equipment and strategies for improving independence.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists speech therapists and physicians to provide holistic patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and best practices in occupational therapy.
Qualifications
- Education: Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active and valid Occupational Therapist license in Missouri.
- Experience: Prior experience in occupational therapy (preferred but not required).
- Skills: Strong communication problem-solving and patient-care skills.
- Certifications: CPR certification (preferred).
Work Environment
- PRN (as-needed) position with flexible scheduling.
- Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of care.
