Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner Gastroenterology to join a dedicated and collaborative specialty care team in Bronx NY.
This full-time permanent position offers a collegial environment with strong clinical support flexible scheduling and opportunities for continued professional growth. The Nurse Practitioner will support the Gastroenterology department by providing high-quality evidence-based care to patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions in an outpatient setting.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with gastrointestinal symptoms and conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests including lab work imaging and endoscopic findings.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of collaborating physicians.
Educate patients and families on digestive health treatment options and preventive care.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical case reviews as required.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP).
Licensure & Certification: Active/Eligible Nurse Practitioner license in New York; national certification required.
Experience: Prior gastroenterology or internal medicine experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.
