Contract Type: Contractor 13-Week Assignment
Schedule: 6:45 AM 7:15 PM 36 Hours per Week

Pay Rate: Local: $42/hr Traveler: $50/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist III to support a busy perioperative services department. The ideal candidate will assist in a variety of surgical procedures maintain a sterile environment and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care. This role also serves as a technical resource and mentor for other surgical team members.

Key Responsibilities

Function as a scrub technologist for a variety of surgical procedures including ENT General GYN Orthopedic Urology Vascular Robotic and Total Joint Replacement cases.
Prepare and maintain sterile fields surgical instruments and supplies.
Safely operate and maintain surgical and robotic equipment (including Mako Robotics systems).
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and RNs to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Adhere to perioperative safety standards and infection control policies.
Support onboarding training and mentoring of new technologists and other surgical team members.

Required Skills & Experience

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (required).
Demonstrated experience in multiple surgical specialties (ENT General GYN Ortho Robotic Vascular Urology Total Joints).
Strong understanding of aseptic and sterile techniques.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Direct patient care and operating room experience required.
