Manufacturing Production Worker Temporary - Part Time

What Were Looking For:

• You prioritize a safe workplace for everyone and understand support and execute all work in a safe manner and contribute to a culture that promotes safety as its overriding priority.

• You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing plant environment and learn new tasks and adapt to frequent job duty changes as required by business or manpower demands.

• Youre obsessed with precision and top-notch quality work and can complete tasks within designated timeframes to meet operational expectations.

• Staying precise with tools machinery and equipment such as a tugger to load unload transfer and move materials within the assembly plant. This equipment could operate at heights of up to 35 feet.

• Youre able to read comprehend and follow written standardized work instructions and trained procedures.

• Ready to grow cooperate and contribute to our dynamic team.

Physical Requirements:

• Quick response to safety instructions alarms and signals are a must

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods

• Comfortably wear personal protective equipment

• Navigate a busy environment

• Bend twist kneel crouch and reach

• May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. depending on department

• Occasional sitting during certain tasks

• Drive mobile equipment when needed

Minimum Requirements:

• 18 years old.

• Flexible shift availability.

• Availability to work a maximum of 32 hours per week.

• Must be able to satisfactorily complete the General Motors hiring process requirements which includes drug testing and a background check.

• Proficiency to listen read follow work and safety instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience preferably in the automotive industry a warehouse setting or other similar environment.
