Eligible for up to a $20000 based on years of relevant experience
As the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist you will perform MRI exams on outpatient inpatient and pediatric patients. You will assist the MRI Imaging Center Leader in maintaining continuity in the day-to-day operations of imaging facilities located in the DCAM Comer CCD and Mitchell Hospitals. The MRI Technologist will also act as a content expert to other technologists/students for the purpose of teaching and instructing them in MR scanning (including but not limited to exams under the general categories of neuroradiology musculoskeletal abdominal breast pediatric cardiac and MR guided procedural this role you will review all MRI patient safety information prior to exam and screen all patients so exams are performed in a safe manner. You will review all MRI requisitions for clinical information before presentation to radiologist for proper imaging protocol. The MRI Technologist will inspect images for quality formatting and labeling before submitting to the Radiologist for interpretation Perform imaging protocols under direction of Radiologist. You will also regularly attend department meetings and discuss opportunities for improving procedures and quality of exams and patient throughput and provide cross coverage of imaging team leader in their absence.

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
