Licensed Practical Nurse (1099)
The Mount Pleasant Correctional Facilitylocated in Mount Pleasant currently houses an average daily population of approximately 850 incarcerated individuals. The Mt. Pleasant Correctional Facility was established in 1976 as a temporary unit to hold 144 incarcerated 2016 MPCF was reclassified as a minimum secure facility with a focus on preparing incarcerated individuals for reentry to the community. Core programming includes Substance Abuse and Cognitive/Batters Education. Mount Pleasant employs a diversified professional workforce providing comprehensive services to offenders.
Pay rate: $32.00-$40.00 per hour (1099) (based on experience).Location:Mount Pleasant Correctional Facility Mount Pleasant IA.
Shifts:
- Shifts will be evenings (3:30pm-11:30pm) Mon-Friday and every other weekend.
Scope and Duties:
LPN will conduct nursing assessments to include vitals medication passing charting and working with the medical practitioner.
