Your role as a Case Worker

As a Case Worker youll support young people at risk of disengagement. Youll work collaboratively with families and stakeholders to reduce contact with police increase education/employment participation and strengthen support networks.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored action plans
  • Provide mentoring advocacy and one-on-one support
  • Collaborate with families schools and community organisations
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation

Skills And Experiences

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role you will be someone whos passionate about creating change and walking alongside young people on their journey. To thrive in this role youll bring:

  • Strong knowledge of the Criminal Justice System and how it impacts young people and communities.

  • Proven experience working with young people and Aboriginal communities building trust and supporting positive outcomes.

  • Case management and risk assessment expertise with a focus on empowerment and safety.

  • A sound understanding of child protection legislation and how it applies in everyday practice.

  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
