As an Auto Retention Associate you will be at the forefront of our sales team driving growth and delivering top-notch service to our clients. Working in our vibrant call center you will handle a high volume of calls assisting potential clients and ensuring their insurance needs are met promptly and effectively. This role is ideal for someone who is self-managing goal-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced high-volume setting.

What you will bring to our team -

  • A proven track record in sales preferably in the insurance industry

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a client-oriented mindset

  • Experience working in a call centre environment

  • High energy and enthusiasm with a competitive drive

  • Self-starter who can manage their own time and workload effectively

  • Goal-oriented with a relentless pursuit of success

  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Level 1 General Insurance license (or willingness to obtain one)

A day in the life -

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound calls

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships over the phone

  • Assess client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions

  • Handle a high volume of sales activities with a sense of urgency

  • Navigate and resolve client issues with innovative problem-solving

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge

Salary Expectations

The compensation for this position is a variable compensation structure ie. base salary plus commission. As such the total compensation earned will vary depending on the successful candidates book of business at a particular time. The expected base salary for this position is $40000 to $45000 plus commissions will be paid based on successful sales performance. The total compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits disability insurance RRSP matching paid-time-off benefits and eligible bonuses for some positions.
