What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee and manage Fairmont Miramars microsite and the Fairmont and Accor brand sites providing the team with best practices content and design updates and ideas to enhance website traffic and engagement.
- Ensure website content (image and copy) is always up to date on Fairmont Miramars microsite brand sites and third-party sites.
- Support F&B and Spa outlets to ensure that all content is up to date on all web platforms from microsite to Yelp Google and Open Table.
- Liaise with the corporate office for deploying website enhancements and functionality upgrades.
- Create and implement promotional content for special offers and packages.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Review the ranking of the hotel website on search engines and update the hotel website with relevant search terms and adequate keyword frequency to ensure that the hotel website gets the best possible natural page rank.
- Update and optimize Meta descriptions and tags.
- Analyze budget investment vs ROI for SEO activities
Website Analytics
- Analyze the website user behavior site performance source of referrals etc. as well as the website production (bookings) with recommendations on improvement and growth
- Provide monthly reports on website KPI to the management team of the hotel and the regional and corporate offices
Email Marketing
- Prepare and send monthly email newsletters to the hotels opted-in subscriber list while ensuring emails are in line with the strategy set forth.
- Analyze email productivity and profile segmentation.
Digital Marketing
- With Director of Marketing assist with the development of digital marketing campaigns for local and feeder cities; track performance and discuss ways to enhance and improve ads with specific focus on conversion to sales
- Manage paid placement strategy on third-party guest room distribution channels maintaining knowledge of marketplace and updating deployed placements as necessary to optimize desired KPIs.
Qualifications :
- At least three years marketing experience
- Experience in graphic design software such as Adobe Create Suite including InDesign Photoshop and Illustrator
- Knowledge of Facebook Business Manager and paid social media strategies
- Skilled writer experienced in writing compelling social content
- Basic HTML knowledge WordPress
- Motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills with a keen focus on attention to detail and follow-up
- Must be able to multi-task work well under pressure / timelines and anticipate prevent and identify problems and solve them as necessary
- Must have a portfolio of Marketing/Communications work
- Previous experience in Graphic Design required
- Previous experience in at least one area of Marketing Public Relations and/or Social Media required
