As ourCommunity Events &Partnerships Manager you are responsible forthe community at Zoku Amsterdam. You are collaborating closely with theother community managers in Copenhagen Vienna and Paris and will be reporting directly to the General Manager. This role is perfect fora community-driven hospitality professional whos both strategic and hands-on: someone who can shake hands with a partner at noon host a community dinner in the evening and still remember its a residents birthday the next day.
No two days look the same as a Community Events &Partnerships Manager: one moment youre welcoming long-stay residents or connecting co-workers over coffee the next youre shaping a major event with a local brand partner. From managing our WorkZoku community to curating strategic partnerships youll create the right mix of events and experiences that make Zoku Amsterdam feel like home and put it firmly on the local map.
Your days vary a lot as aCommunity Events &Partnerships Manager but heres a glimpse of what you can expect:
Brand Partnerships and Event Programming:Build and manage strategic partnerships while curating events with both local and global communities. Youll coordinate with partners and our marketing team to drive awareness and help sell out our event calendar.
Amsterdam Scene Connector: Youre ahead of the curve on whats happening in Amsterdam: spotting trends events and communities that matter to our audience. You turn online communities into offline connections curating gatherings across topics from tech and design to AI (and everything in between).
WorkZoku Memberships:Take care of our WorkZoku community (3540 fixed members day passes) by managing memberships onboarding new members and organizing regular engagement rituals that keep the community thriving.
Long Stay Residents:Welcome and onboard residents staying 2 weeks making sure they feel supported connected and at home throughout their stay.
Meaningful Connections: Foster an inclusive informal and welcoming atmosphere within the Zoku Amsterdam community ensuring everyone experiences a true sense of belonging.

Job requirements
WE LOVE PEOPLE WHO...
- Have a connector mindset are natural networkers and enjoy bringing people together spotting opportunities to like residents members and partners.
- Bring good vibes are friendly and approachable making people feel at home instantly.
- Know all the ins and outs of the city the cool partners we could work with and love going to local events using this as your inspiration for developing new events.
- Able to juggle event calendars memberships and resident interactions without losing detail.
- Have a commercial mindset and are comfortable presenting Zoku to partners and promoting events.
A FEWMUST HAVES
- You have a background in community building or events management and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience managing memberships or client-facing communities (e.g. coworking social clubs start-ups or hospitality brands).
- Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships ideally with local brands or networks.
- You have a track record of organizing small- and medium-scale events (community rituals to public events).
- You have strong English communication skills (Dutch and any additional languages are a plus).
- You are an EU resident or have a valid working and residence permit for The Netherlands.
- You love to work as we need you full-time (40 hours).
