Who are we looking for

We are looking for a Pipeline Condition Assessment Specialist to join our Asset Management this role you will be responsible for evaluating the condition and performance of pipeline infrastructure using advanced assessment technologies data analytics material science failure analysis and industry best addition to core assessment activities you will contribute to the development and maintenance of Computerized Maintenance Systems (CMS) to support data-driven decision-making and align inspection results with proactive maintenance planning.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Consulting Project Delivery: Research collate and analyze information as directed to identify key themes and deliver a limited range of documentation or reports to support client projects and programs.
• Consulting Project Content Development: Develop and write materials that are highly visiblesuch as slide decks for standardized presentations to senior management or sections of client reportsfor review by more senior colleagues.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools methods and formats. Involves working independently.
• Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology external regulation and industry best practices through ongoing education attending conferences and reading specialist media.
• Project Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
• Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.

What youll bring to the team:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferably in Material Science & Engineering.
• Master of Science in Engineering is considered an asset
• 1-3 years of experience in testing and analysis.
• Knowledge of Python or MATLAB for data analysis or modeling is considered an asset.
• Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing project needs.

Salary range: $71000-$119000 based on experience and location
