Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate HAZMAT Production Coordinator for Site Operations Support at Boeing Jacksonville Florida.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting site HAZMAT activities.
- Process and move production and other materials into and out of storage production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions.
- Monitor work in process. Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availability.
- Identify and solve problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
- Coordinate with various functions to set priorities expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
- Work under general supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3 years ofexperiencewith HAZMAT awareness.
- 3 years of experience with inventory management to include inventory optimization.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience using HazTrax ARIBA GOLDesp experience and/or similar systems knowledge (ERP/MRP systems)
- Ability to lift push and pull up to 25 pounds occasionally within an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to walk stand climb and descend stairs bend and lift items frequently within an 8-hour shift. This can include climb ladders bend and twist frequently up to 6 hours per day squat and kneel.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
- Ability to work variable shifts including days nights weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- HAZMAT compliance in a Boeing MRO environment.
- Consumablematerialsmanagement experience in a Boeing environment.
