Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Physician Assistant Cardiology to join a collaborative and mission-driven care team in Bronx NY.
This position offers both full-time and part-time options (35 days per week) providing flexibility while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care. The Physician Assistant will support cardiologists in evaluating diagnosing and managing patients with cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient clinical setting.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments including history taking physical examinations and diagnostic interpretation.
Assist cardiologists with patient evaluations follow-ups and ongoing management of cardiac conditions such as hypertension heart failure and arrhythmias.
Order and interpret diagnostic studies including ECGs echocardiograms and stress tests.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans under physician supervision.
Provide education and counseling to patients regarding cardiovascular health lifestyle modification and medication adherence.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and continuous care.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Participate in team meetings clinical reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (Masters degree preferred).
Licensure & Certification: Active or eligible Physician Assistant license in New York State; NCCPA certification required.
Experience: Prior cardiology or internal medicine experience preferred but new graduates with a strong interest in cardiology are welcome to apply.
