About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Governance Risk and Compliance to lead and strengthen the Colleges governance risk and compliance frameworks. This is a strategic leadership role that supports the Colleges commitment to safety integrity and continuous improvement.

As Manager Governance Risk and Compliance you will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of governance and risk management strategies
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation including WHS child protection privacy and educational standards
  • Provide expert advice to the Business Manager and College Leadership Team
  • Promote a culture of accountability transparency and ethical practice
  • Coordinate internal audits and regulatory reviews
  • Deliver training and build staff capacity in compliance-related areas

This role is pivotal in supporting the Colleges mission and values and contributes to the safety and flourishing of our students staff and broader community.

This is a Permanent Full-Time position

About You

You are a strategic thinker with:

  • Proven experience in governance risk and compliance (preferably in education or a similar sector)
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to leadership
  • Membership with the Governance Institute of Australia (or similar)
  • A personal commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the Colleges purpose
