Hourly Pay Range:
$40.45 - $62.70 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidates expertise and years of experience among other factors.Position Highlights:
Position:Collaborative Nurse (GYNE)
Location:Kellogg Cancer Center Evanston
Full Time 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am - 6pm no weekends or holidays
Required Travel: Floating required between 3 Kellogg Cancer Centers - Glenview Highland Park and Evanston and Southwest Cancer Center
What you will do:
Independently provide safe effective and compassionate nursing care for patients
Utilize the nursing process in planning implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care
Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their condition periodically
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
Collaborate with assigned physician to facilitate effective clinic operations
Coordinate communications with patient and provider including symptom management
Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
What you will need:
Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure required.
Education:Associates in Nursing required. Bachelors in Nursing strongly preferred
Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross required. BMTCN/OCN certifications preferred
Experience:Minimum 1 year Oncology experience required
