Job Summary
AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is seeking a dynamic fellowship-trained Thoracic Medical Oncologist to join our expanding oncology team at AdventHealth Celebration. This position offers the opportunity to be part of one of the largest most comprehensive cancer programs in the state of Florida with a strong referral base and a reputation for excellence in patient care research and Highlights:Primary focus on thoracic malignancies with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities at AdventHealth Orlando the systems tertiary referral to our state-of-the-art AdventHealth Cancer Institute a nationally recognized program providing multidisciplinary care across medical oncology surgical oncology radiation oncology and subspecialty oncology with a dedicated team of world-class physicians and APPs along with nurse navigators social workers chaplain support pharmacy and nutrition work side by side with internationally recognized leaders in the in multidisciplinary clinics tumor boards (daily) and cutting-edge clinical trials including Phase I infusion centers surgical oncology thoracic surgery pulmonary medicine and radiation oncology available responsibilities shared among the regional network with 7 medical oncology sites across Central Florida for collaboration and referral was ranked by U.S. News & World Report among the top 50 in the nation for six medical specialties including Cancer Gastroenterology & GI Surgery and Neurology & Requirements:Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Medical training in Thoracic Oncology is strongly in program development and contributing to the continued growth of a destination cancer program.
