Since we opened our first dealership in 1970 weve steadily grown to one of the Nations best dealerships regardless of brand! Over the past few years weve continued to build our loyal customer base which speaks to how enthusiastic we are for the future! Today we have 12 dealerships and growing located in Florida Alabama and team enjoys training programs a fantastic culture and opportunities for advancement. About the Role:
TheCashier/Receptionistat Mullinax Ford of New Smyrna plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless customer experience at our auto dealership. This position is responsible for managing transactions greeting customers and providing essential information about our services and vehicles. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for customers setting a positive tone for their visit and ensuring their needs are met efficiently. Additionally this role involves maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with administrative tasks to support the dealerships operations. Ultimately theCashier/Receptionistcontributes to the dealerships reputation for excellent customer service and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a cashier or receptionist role preferably in an automotive or retail environment.
- Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with dealership management software or point-of-sale systems.
- Customer service training or certification.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding services and vehicle sales.
- Process customer transactions accurately including cash credit and financing options.
- Maintain an organized and efficient reception area ensuring all customer interactions are handled professionally.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments managing phone calls and maintaining customer records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of information and enhance the overall customer experience.
Skills:
The required skills for this position include strong communication and interpersonal abilities which are essential for interacting with customers and creating a welcoming environment. Attention to detail is crucial when processing transactions and maintaining accurate records ensuring that all financial dealings are handled correctly. Organizational skills will be utilized daily to manage the reception area and assist with various administrative tasks efficiently.
