Job Summary

Description

Pioneer Support is looking for Student Workers to fill the front desk position. Student Workers must have experience in managing multiple tasks decision-making skills and have excellent customer services skills. Additionally workers must be knowledgeable in the resources and services that Pioneer Support and Glenville State University campus offers. We are looking for students who are willing to work from 8pm-12am on any day during the week (Monday - Sunday).

Examples of Duties

Excellent customer services skills when responding to phone calls voicemails and with all visitors to the PSC.
Perform administrative duties including mail pick-up and delivery making copies filing and delivery and picking up items on campus.
Monitor assist and answer questions for students who request assistance.
Assist Pioneer Support staff with various tasks throughout the semester.
Assist in the input of data for study hall hours.
Must assist in daily sanitization and cleaning procedures for the center.
Demonstrate an understanding of privacy and confidentiality requirements.
Willing to tutor entry level courses.
Available to work evenings and weekend hour throughout the semester.

Typical Qualifications

Good Academic Standing (2.75 or better)
Must be currently enrolled at GSU
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Applications (Excel PowerPoint and Word)

Schedule
This position will work up to 20 hours per week during the semester. Work times are available Monday Sunday and some evening/nighttime hours.
