Planning Analyst I- Full Time ( Harrah's Ak- Chin Casino)

NON-GAMINGExecutes day-to-day analytical support to operating departments including but not exclusive to food & beverage retail and entertainment.

• Develop and maintain management reports which reflect clear accurate and concise data analysis.
• Provide short-term/quick turnaround support for analysis requests at the direction of department leader(s).
• Regularly synthesize large amounts of data into actionable recommendations and presentations for management review.
• Proactively identifies revenue and cost savings opportunities.
• Provides analytical support for budgeting and forecasting.

LABORProvides stakeholders with data and recommendations to make informed labor decisions.

• Measures and monitors productivity reports on costs and labor.
• Conduct objective rigorous analytics to help the business improve profitability through expense reduction.
• Optimize schedules based on business needs and labor standards ensuring resource allocation aligns with demand.
• Utilize Virtual Roster UKG Basic and/or UKG Advanced to manage scheduling and timekeeping systems.

ANALYSISInterprets data into meaningful and relevant reports with recommendations.

• Contributes to the presentation of operating financial results for assigned areas.
• Communicate conclusions implications and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
• Analyze standard reporting and conduct in-depth analysis to provide insight on customer behavior.

• Prepares post analysis to measure success and make recommendations to improve based on results.

  QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Streamline processes to optimize productivity efficiency and speed
• Fluent in use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel Work PowerPoint Access)
• Proficiency in SQL required and Power BI recommended
• Ability to work diplomatically with all levels of management in order to influence without authority
• Excellent interpersonal customer service communication team building and problem-solving skills are required
• Possess excellent math statistical and technical financial analysis skills that are detail and result oriented
• Strong organizational and time management skills are required
• Must present a well-groomed appearance
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
• Must be able to work independently

• Must be self-motivated and able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized
