JOB TITLE: Fluoroscopy Tech
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
- Prepares patients for radiological procedures in the surgical suite following established procedures for patient care and safety
- Performs high quality radiologic imaging on patients in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care
- Ensures continual radiation safety
- Safeguards that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Works closely with surgeons and anticipates needs
- Download and save images to EHR
- Maintain daily schedule ensuring accurate record of case services
- Uses ALARA concept to minimize patient radiation doses and documents exposure into the medical record
