About the Role

As a Cafe All Rounder at WHSmith you bring a genuine passion for coffee and great service. You must be able to serve all customers in a timely/efficient manner and follow all food safety guidelines.

You will also be responsible for:

• Preparing and serving food and beverages to cafe standards.
• Greeting and interacting with customers in a warm and professional manner.
• Operating the POS system and handling transactions accurately.
• Restocking supplies and ensuring front-of-house is always well presented.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the cafe.
• Handling both cash and card payments efficiently.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

• Café all rounder experience in a fast paced environment with minimum 1 year of barista experience.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Experience with working with food safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the drive to deliver outstanding service to our customers.
• Ideally 1 year of food prep experience - comfortable working in a fast paced kitchen (highly advantageous).
