Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg/Telemetry (Contract)
Location: Bricktown New Jersey 08724
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM 3x12s Every other weekend required Holidays as needed No on-call
Hours per Week: 36
Travel Rate: Up to $2473.50 per week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingTravel Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg/Telemetryfor an exciting job in Bricktown NJ.
Responsibilities
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients.
Monitor patient conditions and telemetry data promptly reporting abnormalities to the healthcare team.
Administer medications including non-titratable cardiac drips and perform therapeutic interventions safely and accurately.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and professional standards.
Provide compassionate patient-centered care aligned with evidence-based nursing practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg and Telemetry experience in an acute hospital environment.
At least 4 years total Med/Surg experience required.
Strong proficiency in:
Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Administration of non-titratable cardiac drips and medications
Managing a 56:1 patient ratio in high-acuity units
Ability to float to similar units as needed.
Education
Required: Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licenses & Certifications
Active New Jersey RN License or Compact State License
BLS (AHA) Required
ACLS (AHA) Required
Telemetry Certification Required
